I have a Platinum Balance that has a clear section/feed and the view is similar to this when the pen is first filled. Fun.

There are several interesting things in this video -

 

• The capillary action of the feed.
• How the cap ring is pressure fit
• How the nib/feed is inserted into the section - which is exactly how I do it - nothing magic...
