I would like to share my delight of acquiring some older fps : they are parker 45 , particularly shield pattern with green paint , a pattern unknown to me atleast before.A lady sheaffer in black color with golden overlay type pattern , has a 14 k medium nib , excelent writers . I still value these "oldies " and extremely happy post-63325-0-20747100-1398890113_thumb.jpg to have these wonderful pens !

Congratulations, they look very fine. Where and how did you find them? Any chance of pictures of nibs?

I especially like the Sheaffer...

Enjoy!

Thanks mhguda for your kind appreciation. I got these pens from the largest stationary whole-seller in karachi, who is also a very avid collector of fps ,and I have been buying pens from him for more than 30 years ,he showed me some old stuff and I picked up these ,and paid 50 dollars ,including a parker jotter and an extra refill!

Thanks dr saleem, they indeed look nice. You are fortunate with such an association!

The right Parker nib looks like a stub in the picture, or maybe an italic?

They look as if you'll enjoy them for many years to come.

:P That one in the middle looks similar-ish to this Ultra I have (~1958... I think it's a store brand that was imported from Italy)

They call that pattern crosshatch right?

That piston filler, which if true to form unscrews from the section, seems to be typical for that type of Italian pen. So my foundling which has it is probably also an Italian Parker lookalike, in this case a 51 lookalike. Alas, it is not anywhere in as handsome a state as this one...

Dear KBeezie , its nice to see your old stock italian pen . My knowledge of italian pens is too scanty ,but its surely an older stuff than sheaffer lady , I have an other model in silver barleycom pattern with nib and cap engraved "made in australia"
