Sign me up for the group buy. Water resistant violet is nothing to sneeze at. Also, maybe change the topic name? I didn't check in because I wasn't expecting new ink lines, much less a buy.

Completely agree. I only got here by way of the discussion of blues. And I'd like to join the group buy. I want a violet and, of course, a blue... do we have to say which ones now?

Kwzi do you ship to australia? Is there a website that I can order from? Very nice blue, and great work. This may be the end to my search for the perfect blue

Cheers,

Kev

In all fairness, this is a topic about the ink. A Group buy is coming and will have it's own thread.

Ah... my fault. If the moderator (AmberLea?) wants to change the title to "Gorgeous Water-Resistant Dark Blue" with "kwz ink" and "fka less thought; more hey look" as tags, I'd have no objection. I'd do it myself, but the grace period for editing the OP and title has passed. Cheers!

What a gorgeous blue! :yikes: This is kind of a newbie question, but with regards to the group buy do you include your northern neighbours as well, or would it be less shipping hassle if I just contacted kwzi directly?

Look on the 4th Column, 3rd row, it just isn't with the blues, it's hiding under a red.

Thanks. I'm so goofy.

Nice inks, KWZI. Look forward to ordering from Amber Lea after you fill Lisa's truck with #3.

Now, back to that IA meeting...

Mark e, That's a little vintage 2011 Omas Blue with some Namiki Blue for water resistance. Sadly, they changed the formula and still looking for a replacement.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
