The clip is indeed very Pelikanesque.

 

I have a Jowo #6 in my Oliver. It fits well with plenty of room. Writes well too.

I just ordered Gama Airborne with a Schmidt nib. God!!! I will go broke.. :) :)

 

Its a pretty big pen - nearly the size of Hawk

But only if you post it. Because of the tapered barrel it is much smaller qua feel when you write with it unposted.

For me the biggest difference in feel is the width of the section. It is quite a bit wider. It is a very comfortable pen.

:-) No issues at all. Due to FPN restrictions on images, I had to reduce the images to very low resolution. That in a way botched up the presentation. Else I think the Harry Potter theme was quite an enjoyment to conjure up :-)

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
