Here are some scans of four of my blues that have similar characteristics. It's for a specific comparison - nothing more!

Wow, I didn't know Liberty's Elysium was so close to the Blue. I was tempted to buy a bottle, but given that I own Blue, I think I'll pass (even though LE has different properties, etc.)

Thanks for the comparison.

It is difficult to see the difference between the Royal Blue and the Radiant - but I assume it is much more saturated ?

 

Noodlers blue still seems good as well.

Hi there! And thanks for the great optical comparison.

 

I assume pretty much the same (have all 4). That Radiant sort of "equals" Royal was my first thought when applying same (although that had probably already been sead previously [likely by you]). And that those "extra 4 drops" or whatever were likely not only those of a neon light but also a detergent/surfactant making the ink even wetter an more freerly flowing than the Royal.

I love -- and as a matter of fact also use -- all 4 but am still hesitent about N's "Blue" due to the fact that it takes almost forever to dry... even if I use a blotter.

Beautiful blues...And, beautiful pens. What make of pen is the one w/ the Greek key on the cap (1), and (2), the maker of the short, "stub demo" pen at the top please...Thanks much for reply, LeRoy

Thanks for the similair blues side to side like that. I often find myself staring at swabs of blue that I am interested in and it is almost a daunting task to decide on one - so I will buy both . So, to see such similair colors in the writing allows for me to look at the second characteristic that I always look for: Shading. I would be highly disappointed if I were to order one of those colors, and then not being hyperaware of exactly how close the color is to something I already own - buy another one of those colors. Too similair to own both for me.
