Problems Ordering Directly From Diamine?

Has anyone ever bought ink directly from Diamine at their website (http://diamineinks.co.uk)? How was your experience?

I've placed an order there a week ago and didn't get any feedback whatsoever. Last friday I sent them an email, forwarding the payment receipt and asking what's going on with my order and a couple of days later still no feedback. Tomorrow I'm calling their offices, which is a pain and should be avoided.

Does anyone have experience buying directly from them?

Purchased directly from them on several times without any issues. Inks drop through my door a few days after the order.

Usually I get Diamine 80ml from either Cult Pens or Penbox, as they are both cheaper than buying from Diamine.

Kindest regards

I buy from them from time to time, normally 30ml bottles. I have had no problems so far, but I have never had to speak to them.

Hi

I have used them a few times and never had any issues, normally get quick delivery, no more than a couple of days.

I have bought several sets of four 30 ml bottles (four 30ml bottles fit nicely into a Private Reserve box), and at the time, got a present of a box of mixed assorted Diamine cartridges. (The trick is then identifying which cartridge is which :P )

Pleasant transaction, immediate post, moderate charges, no problems at all.

Thank you all for your input.

I just called Diamine and the kind lady that answered my call confirmed that the order was shipped the next day. The only "problem" here is that the way their system is set up it doesn't send the buyer any feedback confirming the order was shipped, so all you get is the transaction confirmation from paypal.

Confidence restored :)

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
