BNB was such a lousy performer for me that I hate to use it. I love this ink!

 

BNB is much greener.

 

Blue Steel has some green notes but it's much bluer than BNB.

Guess I'll have to use another quart or two of the inks I have to make room.

 

 

I may have to dump some out, because this is exactly the kind of ink that makes you want to write. It was luscious.

The big question is are they going to carry the ink or was it just made to give away at the show?? I got my little bottle at the show and love this ink!

It's my understanding that Dromgoole's will be carrying this ink as an exclusive.

 

Dromgoogle's is a great retailer and this ink is stunning. I can't rave enough about it's performance. It was just a pleasure to use. I'll post up water fastness tests later.

If you like the Warden inks, you will love this ink. The colors are different, and BS is so easy to use. The other color that is really nice is TBB, but BS is so much friendlier, than any of the other blues.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off.
