I Turned A Rod Of Plumbers Copper Into A Nice Pen

It is one heavy pen! I have turned several of these over the years. Although I prefer the O.S. Balance in solid copper, the Parker Sr. Duofold makes a bold statement. I placed an arrow Centennial into this pen and built a section that accepts a sac rather than a converter. Therefore it is a traditional button filler. I have built several Sr. Duofolds that can be used with a converter or a traditional sac. The section looks just like a vintage but is modified inside to accept either option.

Beautiful heavy pen.

Sweet Mother Machree! Those are really beautiful works of art. Going button filler over converter was a wonderful touch

Hope it corrodes. I mean to develop a patina. Just love to see this beauty in copper green.

Why don't you just purchase the one that the "leaded glass" industry uses? It does a beautiful instant job of producing the patina.

Absolutely beautiful pens. Particularly the OS Balance. Sure wouldn't want one of those in my pocket if there was lightening in area. :yikes:

Those pens are unique and beautiful. No words can do them justice.

Hi!

I am the proud owner of that Duofold that Chris made for me. I'm just showing what time and usage made to the pen, oxidating it a little bit, making it even more beautiful, in my opinion.
