Best nib ever! How can you write anything even a little unkind with that nib smiling at you?

But I don't get the clipless thing. The kids I know love clipping their pens to their shirts and backpacks.

A lot of school pens for the very young like the Rotring Primus, Pelikan Pelikano Jr., and Lamy ABC are clipless as well. I still wonder why they do that.

Maybe since the kids are so small, their pockets are too small to hold a full size pen?

German primary school kids use pencil cases. Dutch kids, too. Not familiar with other European countries, though. Pens with clips come into use in secondary school.

In Taiwan, they use pencil cases too. Though I'm in the US, my grandparents got me one when I was in grade school and I still use one now, although I actually have three (actually two because two of them are attached) now. One is for my fountain pens of the day, and the pens are placed in thick padded sleeves before being placed inside so that they don't get damaged, hit each other, or move around. The other has my eraser, a small knife for pencils, and the last has a universal pen and my mechanical pencils of the day. mechanical pencils with rough metal parts are placed in sleeves in my fountain pen case or somewhere else so that they don't damage anything. Because of this, I never use the clips on my fountain pens, so I don't mind buying pens without clips. I like the clipless look too. For me, the clip is just another thing to adjust, tighten, or worry about. It can enhance the looks of some pens though.

I have been teaching in Japan for a while now and yes they all use pencil cases. I have yet to see a single kid using a FP. Pencils are the weapon of choice in Japan since it's recommended by teachers to write kanji.
I will try to get one of these, very cute.

No clip!!

This is the right thing for kids. Safety for the kids. Can you imagine kids playing, running, falling, fighting etc with a pen in their pockets?

On the other hand it IS a nice pen! A smiling pen!

Still missing the "White Stripe" MYU and black brother MYU with transparent section!

(Has somebody a "Murex" with a working clock?

(Thanks to Steve I found the "Black Stripe Capless" and the "White Stripe Capless")
