Which Conway Stewart Are You Using Today?

Recommended Posts

I enjoyed using the Black 100 series so much, that after using up the Green/Black ink, I gave it a good clean out, and filled it up with Midnight. Bliss.

The only one I have, a brand-new CS100 LE celebrating the 100th anniversary of the pen store in Sheffield, England, F. G. Thomas Pens, owned by Gary Ellison. It's filled with Sheaffer Skrip Washable Purple from a bottle that's only about half as old a Gary's store, so the ink is still older than Gary.

Modern CS58 Coral, inked with Diamine's Autumn Oak. The ink is actually a tad darker than in the photo...had to expose lighter to get the colours on the pen, which are wonderful.

'The Yo-Yo maneuver is very difficult to explain. It was first perfected by the well-known Chinese fighter pilot Yo-Yo Noritake. He also found it difficult to explain, being quite devoid of English.

So we left it at that. He showed us the maneuver after a sort. B*****d stole my kill.'
