That is so cool!!!

If you ever want to add those to a fade experiment....

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Swap you a sample for any other Diamine colour? (And I do mean any :))

Sorry, I can't. I had a sample bottle but it's - elsewhere.

Not bad, (nodding), but why didn't you keep them in their boxes?

:puddle: I thought I was dreaming! I love Diamine inks & while I have a few, only dreamed of buying the entire set. Although tomorrow I am getting the 5 Pelikan Edelstein Inks I don't yet own.

100 bottles, one for each of Diamine's standard colours.

If something is worth doing, it is worth doing to excess

Now I think I can wait buying more ink at least until Diamine releases their new boxed set in the autumn….

Beside this cave of Ali Diamine Baba, do you have also other brands ?

Of course: excess is my middle name. But other than a trivial brand this is the only complete collection. I like Diamine inks.

I am no longer very active on FPN but feel free to message me. Or send me a postal letter!

I have shared this photo with those who profess to love me, what with Xmas coming and all.

Yeah ... I wonder if I can persuade that my teenagers that cases of ink are in fact better than the latest video game?

My idea was writing samples of all of them, ordered by hue and all done with the same pen(s), to have a single comparison of the lot.

And I of course did just that here: https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/topic/250366-all-diamine-inks-compared/

With fade tests here: https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/topic/250572-all-diamine-inks-mini-fade-test/

Enjoy.

I am 16, and happen to be of just that opinion. Sadly, I may be alone.

Impressive collection, and those comparison scans are wonderful! I'm trying not to spend money right now, but all the pretty colours...;)

You aren't really alone --- just in a small minority. Welcome aboard.

I was referring to my age group, sorry for the confusion.

I thought you were in a small elite group of teenage fountain pen user or teenagers who would prefer mom collect ink instead of Wii games?

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
