Wobbly Connection Pilot Myu 701 Con-20

After getting a Pilot MYU on ebay without a converter or cartridge I ordered 2 new con-20 for this fountain pen. After receiving I put one in place and filled it with Akkerman royal blue. I had the feeling that the converter was not fitting properly because it was a very wobbly affair but the short barrel keeps it in place. The pen with medium nib glides over the paper as a dream and after uncapping it after a night it still looks clean and writes perfect. Only the same evening after writing just a few notes the ink was gone. I think that that is very quick or the converter was not filled right. Is there somebody who has the same experience with an Pilot MYU 701.

It sounds as if the Con 20 isn't seated correctly. You need to push it in slowly and with some force until it sits so that it doesn't wobble. And the Myu is a great little pen. Enjoy!

You really have to push it in until it's stuck for good.

Just about everyone has problems seating the converter, the first time. Seating the CON-20 takes more force than most people are comfortable with applying to a pen.

The other thing to watch for is that it takes a few seconds to fill the pen. Watch the sac, and don't take the pen out of the ink bottle until the sac has returned to its normal shape. The press bar is not attached, and will return to its normal position almost immediately, but the sac will take somewhat longer.
