(Excuse my flippancy) I preferred Oxblood to Syrah (wasn't as dry, flowed easier, and didn't seem to stain like a mutha...) But I haven't tried Oxblood in the Nakaya or Danitrio, it's pretty much married to my vintage 1950s Pelikan 140 (black with green ink window, and a 14K Broad cursive italic).
