Especially to those of you Nakaya owners.

Was looking thru the order webpage of Nakaya FPs, the part about how heavy is your writing pressure when you write.

http://www.nakaya.org/ekarte.html

How does one determine how much pressure is exerted ?

I just wrote on a kitchen scale to measure my pressure. Then again, I ended up going to Nakaya in person, and they figured everything out for me..

I have answered light (90g) when I ordered my Nakayas. Make sure that in the special instructions you request the kind of flow you like. I didn't do it the first time around, and my first Nakaya needed to be adjusted. When I ordered the second (a Piccolo) I made sure that they knew I wanted a wet writer, and that's exactly what I got. Perfect out of the box.

Hi Escrib....

Any chance you can post a writing sample with the Nakaya FPs you have ?

I don't think I can ever come close to getting a real tryout of a Nakaya here where I live.

What nibs you got? The elastic or the standard flex?

Is yr grip of the pen high up or close to the nib? My guess is that its quite difficult to have heavy pressure when you hold the pen high up the section.

They do go to a few pen shows in the States. Their Web site will tell you which ones, I think.

Isn't sanity really a one-trick pony, anyway? I mean, all you get is one trick, rational thinking! But when you're good and crazy . . . ooh hoo hoo hoo! . . . the sky's the limit!
