New Pen Arrived - Aspinall Of London

Hi Folks

Well my new pen arrived on Friday.

It's an 'Aspinal of London Allegro', I believe its made by Waldmann Pens.

The barrel is a lovely translucent Blue with a marble effect made of Metacrylata. The rest of the pen is '925' Stirling silver.

The nib is wonderfully smooth.

Forgive the pics, they are taken with a camera phone.

Regards

A lovely looking pen, from an interesting brand.

How old do you think it is?

What is the filling system?

What sort of nib does it have?

I am curious!

Hi da vinci

I purchased it new, but it is NOS, it is standard cartridge or converter fill with a medium silver iridium plated nib.

Kind regards

I think Mr Brown reviewed one of those not long back on his youtube channel

Congrats on the new pen it is very regal

Do not let old pens lay around in a drawer, get them working and give them to a new fountain pen user.
