Fpn Inks - Ready For Ordering

Admin

Recommended Posts

Ok, situation now is that:

- all invoices (85) we could send out have been sent out indeed

- all but 4 of these invoices are paid for

- remaining queries on out-of-stock situations have been sent out

- remaining queries on missing shipping addresses required to generate invoices have been sent out too

In short, we have now dealt with all ink orders we have received, in one way or another, so if you did place an order and you haven't received a single email from us yet, which means we haven't received your email, please contact me backchannel by PM or email to see how we can sort this out.

Warm regards, Wim

Today we ordered new stock of all 3 inks. That is the good news :D.

However, we will likely only receive it some time after Christmas. We will obviously make an announcement when we do, till that time we will have to make do with what we currently have left :D.

Warm regards, Wim

Ooh -- I'm excited. I *completely* missed the announcement about the current (now extinct) stock :bawl:, so I managed to avoid the feeding frenzy. Although not for the -- IMO -- *right* reason... :glare: (that of course being that of getting an order in *quickly* enough ).

I will be waiting with bated breath for the next "orders now being taken" post. Looks as if I should bring the laptop with me when I do the round of family visits over the holidays, so I don't miss the next round. Just sayin'....

Help-

I send an email on December 1st with order and received a reply that brown was out did I want the blue and tulipe - I replied yes. That is the last I have heard - I sent a PM to wing as requested on December 7st, but still have not heard anything... Thanks again for the service, but is the ink all gone? Please advise.

Hi Marie,

See email and PM - I was away for a few days, work and moving, with little or no time for PMs and emails unfortunately :).

You can always put in an order now, and we will put you on the preorder list, with the greatest of pleasure.

That way you will not miss out on the next batch :).

You will actually receive a message when that applies; otherwise you will receive an invoice or a request for shipping information.

I, too, was late (I suspect) and put in my name for pre-ordering my two colors. So while late for this round, I hope I'm early for the next one.

Arriving a little late to the party, but I've sent in my order for one bottle of each though I'm not really expecting for that last bottle of Van Gogh Starry Night Blue that's listed in the updated stock list to still be there. Worth a shot, though, and worth waiting for if need be!

Thanks to all who made this happen!

Cheers,

Tom

I do my best on packing. I don't want anything breaking. Though after seeing how the mail men handle it (toss -- drop) I'm even more glad that they arrived safely. :yikes:

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
