I have a few more words coming up: ALONE, AMBIDEXTROUS, AMBITION and AMNESTY. I am getting tired of the As. Thank fully, there are only 2.5 more pages to go, yeah!

Whoa! That ALTAR has a serious blue hue... Oh well... Sorry about that. It looks like the next word is ANOINT. Not my best attempt. Apologies.

You're fantastic! These are cracking me up. I say we have this volume of yours reproduced and sell it as an FPN fund-raiser!

 

It makes me happy that you are enjoying these. I like to too; and it gives me reason to use pens and ink and paper. We have a lot of words to go. Here are a few more: APPLAUSE and APRIL FOOL.

I have three more words: ARMOR, ARRAYED and ARREST. I used and Eversharp Skyline with a very flexible nib and Waterman South Sea Blue. I got my inks confused si I did not use Edelstein Topaz. Ooops!

I must confess my ignorance; I have not heard of either artist or or their work. I would love to see their illustrations!

 

Here are a few more words: ARSENIC (Yay for Alice!), AVERNUS and ART (I shall defer the Vitruvian sketches to the one and only Master).

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
