BTW, what ink did you use for influence?

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Thanks. I used J. Herbin Violette Pensee and terrible lighting.

Today's words are INJURY and INJUSTICE. This purple is more like burgundy, I must say.

I have decided to repeat the word INK.... just because it is one of my favorites. I used one of my best writers overall (left alone on an island quality), a Waterman 12 eyedropper with Sailor Jentle Apricot.

Hello all. I am back from a needed hiatus. I hope to post more regularly. I am rusty though. Here is IN'ARDS, but I forgot to scan the pen in. I will include it in the next post. The Ink is J Herbin Ambre de Birmanie.

OOH -- love the shading on that ink. I've been trying to decide whether to get a sample of it. What's the nib on the pen? That will give me some idea as to what to expect if I get AdB.

Oh, and it's nice to see these are back -- they've been a lot of fun.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy.       I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off.
