The Goulet Pen Companies customer service = priceless. :)

Need a pen repaired or a nib re-ground? I'd love to help you out.

I too received a tracking number

I am happily surprised and pleased. I in no way expected to have the pens ship out this quickly.

I'd write yet another glowing review of how amazing the Goulet Pen Company is and how their customer service is unparalleled, making mention of their hard work and diligence to do all they can to serve their customers and exceed their expectations... but I might start sounding like a Goulet Groupie, so instead, I'll just say...

Cool. Thanks. Looking forward to getting my LEA and LEE

I too have received the joyous news! A tracking number!

I'm so excited and thankful... I think I am gonna log on to the Goulets site and buy some ink...you know... to celebrate with! ( And to Thank Brian and Rachel in a meaningful way!!)

Oh, the fates. I'm in Richmond for a medical appointment tomorrow and put in a small order of random stuff (Kaweco clip, Banditapple lined paper, two converters, and two ink bottles) for pick up. I included in my instructions that if the pens came in today and if it wasn't a bother I'd also be happy to pick up my Edison. While I will have no complaints if there is something inconvenient about that arrangement and mine comes by mail, I hold out hope that my Edison may just be waiting for me in the morning. :)

Tracking number? I don't got no tracking number. I don't gotta show you no stinkin'....

Um, excuse me. I'm still awaiting my tracking number. No issues here, I'm okay with whenever it happens.

Being in the wilds of the Pacific NW, I'm sure I'll be one of the last to receive the pen, not due to anything but the fact that it's making its way here from Virginia. Until then, I'll live vicariously through you all.

I think I was the last person to place an order and I'm expecting to be last to get shipped, but it sounds like they'll all be out by tomorrow and we can all expect to see our pens no later than the end of the week.

I got an e-mail from the Goulets with a tracking number, and the USPS says expected delivery is Friday!

I am very excited and have the greatest appreciation for the Gray-Goulet team's efficiency and service. :clap1:

You guys should start an airline!

And now I play the Canadian Customs waiting game <twiddles thumbs> - guess it gives me longer to ponder the first ink for it :)

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
