I have been having some troubles finding a decent M600 EF nib and finally ordered a red/black through Rolf; specifying that I was looking for a true EF. He had to order some extra nibs from Pelikan, and though they were back ordered for awhile, he finally sent out the pen. It arrived with an absolutely flawless EF nib, probably the best I have seen on a Pelikan M600.

 

I also eBayed a vintage bottle of MB blue-black from him (old style IG formula), and am super happy with that!

I was looking for a used Lamy 2000 F and Rolf was able to help me out. I emailed him first seeing his eBay account and this thread, and while he did not intially have a used pen in stock, he emailed me a couple of days later when some came into his possession.

 

Rolf provided very prompt and friendly email correspondence and a killer price - which included shipping for Germany to the US. Shipping took about a week and a half. This is definitely slower than if you purchase domestically, but the great service (+gummy bears and mints), price, and the actual pen, which was much nicer than I was expecting on my budget, were well worth the extra half week. I plan to make all future purchases of German pens through Rolf!

I have recently bought a F nib for my Pelikan M600 via the Missing-pen.de E-bay store for a very favourable price. The nib was sent the very same day I placed & paid the order, literally within hours. I received the package in less than 3 workdays! The nib was very well packed and the package would surely withstand even very rough handling Some nice promotional goodies were enclosed as well. The nib is perfect. Just wanted to share my positive experience purchasing a Pelikan M800 from Rolf Theil. I bought the beautiful Burnt Orange from Rolf and he was very helpful throughout the sale. He was about to head for vacation but still took time to send me sample scans of the nib width lines so I could choose what I wanted! He got the pen shipped before leaving for his holidays. The communication was prompt and helpful, the shipping was fast from Germany to the US and I got a tracking number same day.

It is a beautiful Pen and I have since had the broad nib tuned by Mike Masuyama! After the sale, Rolf checked in to see if there were any issues. All in all, a very positive experience and I will highly recommend him.

There are a lot of sellers out there that ship internationally. Most are so, so, at best. But there is a handful in Europe and Asia who have figured out that price, communication, packaging and understanding the int'l mails, are all important to keeping return business.

Rolf is one of those very special int'l sellers that has the system down just right. Always a pleasant experience.

I've never purchased a waterman or parts from Rold so I don't know what he charges for those. Every German made pen I've purchased from him has been competitively priced, if not the cheapest I could find. or maybe things have changed since I last bought.

Must admit I've aways found his prices a bit high too, but in the face of all the praise he gets concluded either it was me getting in touch with the Scottish ancestry or the deals were better if you were outside the EU.

I recently bought a Lamy 2000 from Rolf and have nothing but good things to say. Shipping was fast and he responds to emails quickly. His Lamy 2000 prices are really good IMO.

After many delightful transactions with Rolf, I found myself yielding to a longstanding temptation: the Pelikan orange M320. This pen exceeded my wildest expectations. It is tiny, yet writing with it is perfectly comfortable, even with my large hands. The color of the pen is gorgeous, and the nib is nicely soft. Yet another wonderful purchase of a rare pen, worth every penny.
