Another great experience with Rolf to add to the list. I got a Lamy Coffee Brown Al Star from him at a very reasonable price. And only 7 days shipping from Germany to Australia. Far better than the three weeks and still waiting on a US parcel.

It's been a while since I came across missing-pen in one of Stephen Brown's videos. But until last week I hadn't had a pen I'd had trouble finding. Until I discovered there was a Lozenge M215. I fell in love with the design and I already knew the pen itself was excellent from the M215 Rings pen that I had bought last year from Richard Binder.

 

A quick email to Rolf revealed he had one, and the price was right so I put in my order. He shipped it promptly and Deutsche Post got it quickly to the US where it crossed the country and was with me in exactly seven days! It was packed very well and arrived in perfect condition.

 

Rolf's communications were always prompt and clear. I'd thoroughly recommend missing-pen - and it won't be long before I order another pen!

The nib is a broad. I have M215 nibs in medium in an M400 and M stub (Binder) in my M215. I think they're an undervalued nib - excellent writers with some give and enough easy line variation to give character.

 

The only question now is what's my next pen from Rolf at "missing-pen"? This transaction has been quick, efficient and pleasant so I'll be back soon.

Saw this thread and thought I'd add my A+ grade to Rolf and The Missing Pen. I too have been bitten by the Pelikan bug. I've bought 3-4 pens plus some nibs from Missing Pen. But the most valuable thing is that I always get an honest answer when i ask a question. I feel safe buying from him. The gummies are cool too.

Rolf is a terrific person to work with. He found me a Pelikan BB nib for my M1000 that I had stubbed by Pendleton Brown, and I'm very grateful, since these specialty nibs are no longer being manufactured. I highly recommend Rolf.

Count me among the Pelikan Horde (I've been watching a lot of zombie-themed entertainment lately).

 

I was browsing Rolf's eBay page and came upon a new White Tortoise R400 Rollerball. I've got the M600 fountain pen in the same finish and love it, and my mother had wished she had one like it. Since she doesn't use fountain pens and has smaller hands than I do, I figured this would be a great pen for her, so I picked it up as an early Mother's Day present.

 

Rolf's service was wonderful and the pen got here quickly, along with the delicious ginger gummy-snacks. She really liked it.

 

I'll definitely be using him again in the future.

I've been after the now difficult to find M800 red stripe (even though the M805 looks great . And an M605 blue stripe. Rolf had both and the order arrived well packaged and in the usual one week. Here are a few pics of the packaging and pens.

I can't give a writing report yet as these are officially for my birthday, so I'll have to wait a few days! But I did check them when they arrived, took these photos and dipped them for a quick test. I am looking forward to enjoying these fine pens.

 

The all round experience of dealing with Rolf was very good. He's very prompt in his communication - and his shipments. Highly recommended, again!

Rolf was able to find a NOS M850 with an OB nib for me. Should have it within the next few days. I've wanted one of these for a long time!

Just got my Pelikan M200 Café Crème from him over the weekend. Cheaper (even with shipping) than from any of the dealers here in the States, and he shipped it almost immediately. I think it took longer at Customs than it did for me to hit the BiN button on Ebay and to get the confirmation email that it had shipped. Although I wasn't quite sure what to make of the plea to say nice things about him on FPN....

Also, I am not sure what I'm going to do with the packet of Gummi Bears he included in the envelope -- I'm afraid of that sort of thing since I accidentally lost a crown from eating spice drops a couple of years ago!

I'm a repeat customer of Rolf's too, the most recent was 3 Pelikan nib units that I received just a few days ago. For me, he always packs the Haribo Goldenbear and an invoice, as well as two of his business cards. He never changed that in my past orders too, so he must have his packing and shipping system down pat. This thread is going back a while now, so I can see that he is a consistent great seller, with very prompt communication and secure shipping. Two thumbs up from me too about his service.

 

I have to say though I never eat those lollies that come packed in parcels from some sellers, including Goulet's. I really appreciate the thought and it's nice to see, but I would be just as happy without them. I am a bit OCD about the food I put in my mouth and my family's, I always have to check the outer packet or box before I put any food in my shopping trolley at the grocery store too, yeah I'm a bit weird that way.

Unfortunately, the M850 OB that Rolf thought he could get me proved to be unobtainable. My luck seems to be running that way lately, but it's probably better for my pocketbook. He has promised to let me know if he runs across another one.

Received my Pelikan Souveran M600 (Black-Red) in "M" nib from Rolf today. This was my second purchase from him (the first was a M200 (Cafe Creme)). I must say that communicating with him is just fantastic - pleasant and responsive. Shipping rate is reasonable and fast with nice packaging. Will do business with this gentleman in my next Pelikan pen purchase (perhaps a M400 or M805? ). Danke Rolf.
