C - I have had a similar experience with both Tolstoy and Sidney Harbor.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Just curious if anyone has a pic for Diamine Sherwood green - I heard it sheens and got a sample in my last Diamine order but I've tried it out in 3 different pens with multiple nib sizes and have yet to catch any sheen. (writing on rhodia, clairefontaine and cheap notebooks)

on another note, I spilled some Diamine Bilberry and got this awesome shot of the sheen:

And this from my experiments with Diamine Blue Pearl: (sheen, shading & sparkles! )

PS: I tried adding the pics using a URL from my Onedrive cloud and the platform wouldn't let me,so I just uploaded them as files. How do we add pics?

Here is an ink with an insane amount of sheen. The ink is purple but looks green. Sterling Violet Ink Powder.

Take-sumi and Cross Violet. Take's sheen is a pink-y/silver, very shiny, almost mirror-like. The Cross is a green/gold; as you slant the light source from the vertical (violet), you see the dark green shading appear, lowering it further the gold comes up.

ETA: Take-sumi is in a JIF F, Cross Violet in a Kaweco Sport F.
