Ottoman Rose and SITB?

As I was apportioning some Noodler's Ottoman Rose tonight I found two small "globs" in the bottom of the bottle. I don't know, can't tell, that these are growths or just chemical reaction but I am concerned about this especially since I have sent samples to others.

 

I have contacted Luxury Brands but my main concern is with those who received samples of this ink from me. Please let me know if you have had any trouble. I did treat the bottle with Ink Safe a few weeks ago because I was having some flow problems with it. So I doubt that anything is actually growing. But you need to be informed to cope with it as you see fit. I don't know what the possibility is that the Ink Safe may be reacting with the ink either.

 

Feel free to fuss at me if you need to.

 

I haven't had this problem with any of my other inks, Noodler's or otherwise.

How long is the bottle in your possession? I've had mine since July last year, no problems yet, and one of my favourite inks.

 

Just trying to establish whether there is a relation between age and globs...

um... i don't know.

 

I can't remember exactly when it was sent to me but it was much later than July. Was it before January? sigh...

 

Of course there's no way to know how long it had been in Pendemonium's hands but I think it's a fairly popular color.
