I'm feeling a bit better (though I'm still not good per se), but the 5 people I live with have started falling like dominos so it may be a while yet as we all (collectively) recover... knock on wood, though, my parents haven't gotten it yet and hopefully won't! Sorry for the delays though, I got to more letter INs from @tringle too.  Thanks you guys!

FWIW, I've had it & doc says I'm all good!  My kiddos are in the process of moving, so I'm slow to get post in the mail though.  :(

@Enkida

@frolic838

I've had it too...   So write away.   If you are still scared you can bake paper at anything below 350 (if your oven will go that low -  paper ignites at 425 -  I've baked donation yarn with the labels on top make sure there were no critters involved before and the labels were fine) so there you go....  Spread your letters out and let them get a little toasty and you'll be ok...  😎😎😎

I've begun to reply to letters but still don't quite have the energy to write for extended periods yet.  Also still officially can't leave the house to mail them XD

Several cards mailed a week ago or so, but the post mysteriously vanished. Cards were sent to: SCPaul, jazztonight, succubus, Spotted&Speckled, penhorse87, InkyPete, ribbit, and FredRydr.

Cards going out tomorrow to Hdubious76, Penspouse, SCPaul, MikeW,tr3n1ty, and OldNavy1988.

Hi,  just wanted to let you know that when you mention someone you need to put an @ symbol in front of their names otherwise they won't see your message,  as in the @ symbol is what tells the system to notify the person that you mentioned them.

When you type the @ symbol, do not enter any spaces after.   Type the person's name right up against the symbol.   It will pop up a list of possible people you're wanting.   You can continue typing their name without spaces,  until you see the one you want,  or you can scroll through the list of provides until you find the person.

FPN is messed up so you'll need to put one name per line.   Also,  if you miss-type a name you'll need to start over with that particular name by deleting even the @ and typing it in again.

You will know you've been successful when their name appears in a blue bubble.

I will tag myself so you can see...

Kari Homan Shannon = not tagged

@Kari Homan Shannon
= is tagged

Hope this helps!  🧡

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
