I wonder if the journal still has any lingering crab smell or stains from the crab?

Alas no food smells to make me crazier. I may write a poem for it. We will see.

What, Jol? We have to wait for you to go through detox before you can write?

What if you get the DTs?

Or will that just be the DaniTrios? The shaking and trembling of writing with the DT Fellowship pen for ALL to see.

DTs? :roflmho: Ok I am really sleep deprived. It took me a minute to understand that double meaning. :ltcapd:

No, we are having alot of rain so I needed to dry off so I did not make the previous entries run!

I've already started writing in it...but I don't remember what. Man, I need some sleep. Maybe I will write about my crazy week. :eureka: I don't know if you guys could handle it..

Hi Siv ?,

Can I join in ?

What are the conditions I must meet ?

TMLee

Singapore

No conditions other than a willingness to post the journal to the next recipient - be aware that this may not be cheap if going (for example) from Singapore to Europe. Oh and I assume you're a member of the Danitrio Fellowship? ;)

Just another reminder that since I am temporarily homeless (going through a divorce and subsequent house sale that I mentioned a few posts back) my name should be off the list. Unfortunately....Wouldn't want it to lost in transit after all the hard work that went into it.

Yes shipping may be costly by registered airmail depending on its weight.

I don't recall seeing mentioned here what kind of a journal is being used.

I am not a member of Danitrio Fellowship (yet) .

Will look it up to join in and thereafter keep you updated. :)

Just changed my name around with calibr8 since he has to do some traveling and might not be able to get the journal right away.

Two more people and it's here!

Sorry to rain on your parade, jpr! I didn't see the order of the recipients until just now. The journal went from me straight to Troglokev, bypassing Chris Chalmers and jimg - sorry guys! Not sure who Troglokev is gonna send it to next, but there will be four people before you get it :headsmack:

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
