Here's my Orient Bambino and Lamy 2000. I like this combo. My photo doesn't do justice to either.

Is that a crack on your Lamy 2000, looks like a large crack on the bottom left going upwards just above the K on the KIMBALL.

That's a reflection or shadow of the watch strap. The L2K is in perfect health :)

great classic

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

My Sheaffer Vacuum Filler and Lord Elgin Driver. Just got a new strap for the Elgin and it really made the watch pop.

Nice, looks late thirties-early forties. Do you have its serial number?

Off the Elgin? on the inside of the case it's marked "163085" and on the movement it is "X207645" The "X" is a more sallow etching than the numbers so I'm not really sure if it is part of the "207645" or not. Would love to know the actual year it was produce though.

The number on the case is actually the serial number of the case while the one on the movement is for the watch. Your watch movement was only made it seems for two years. It is a 21 jewel 538 movement and was made in 1939.
