+1 for me as well

And for me. Also, Carrie and I can't access the Batcave anymore...

I'm seeing other people's PMs that I really don't need to see!

Like Ron, I'm seeing other people's PMs. This happens when I open a PM I just sent...Above it in the window will be a PM to or from someone else! Makes me wonder if the PM I just sent, for example, to the Admin Team re: the missing FLD forum will go to someone else instead.

Ann

I've got both of those problems as well.

Well, at least I know that means one PM got through even if I got notification of a reply on a completely different subject from someone else.

Delete "Wayne Manor" and insert "Murphy Towers" and this is frighteningly accurate...

One thing I miss: I view the threads in outline mode. The reply I am currently viewing was always highlighted in the outline - that is not true in the current setup and I miss it. That was essential in keeping track in where I was in reading the thread. So if that can be restored it would be much appreciated. Tnx

I'm seeing other people's PMs that I really don't need to see!

Ditto!What Ron said^^^.

It says they're a part of a "Conversation"", when I don't know who these people even are yet.

It's like the old "party lines" on the telephone systems of old, not appropriate at all, not private.

“I view my fountain pens & inks as an artist might view their brushes and paints.

They flow across paper as a brush to canvas, transforming my thoughts into words and my words into art.

There is nothing else like it; the art of writing and the painting of words!”

Fixedintime, you can set the layout to Outline in the menu under your name at the upper right corner. It's in My Settings, then Your Options, then Forums, there is a menu at the bottom of that page, in Topic Display Mode, with the choice of the way one sees the threads.

May you have pens you enjoy, with plenty of paper and ink. :)

Yep, I'm seeing PMs that aren't mine, too -- not many, just one on the newest page...

Does not always write loving messages.

Does not always foot up columns correctly.

Does not always sign big checks.

I hate to be dense, but I can't even find the personal message folder anymore. Where is the link to it?

At the top-right corner of the screen is a drop-down menu with your screen name on it. Click on it and you'll have a link to the messenger.

Can't seem to create new photo. Won't download.

Otherwise, like the new look. Taking a while to get used to, but gradually finding most of the bits.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
