Acid-free of buffered Whitelines and Staples Bagasse?

Hi All,

 

I just got the Whitelines Big Book, and I'm thinking about buying the Staples bagasse paper. I recently found notebook paper I wrote on in high school 30 years ago. The paper was brittle and browned.

 

I'm planning to write the first draft of my first novel longhand with a fountain pen. I want it to be fine to read 30 years from now, or leave it as a legacy to my family. Can anyone recommend paper (or journals even) for that, hopefully not prohibitively expensive?

Clairefontaine paper is reported as acid-free and pH neutral. There's more information on the US distributor's website. I'm banking on these properties--I use Exacompta and Quo Vadis journals with Clairefontaine paper for my personal journals and memory books, which I hope will last at least a few decades....

 

There are lots of different styles of notebooks with Clairefontaine paper (magnetic closure, elastic closure, spiral bound, clothbound, stapled)--you should be able to find something that suits you there!
