Hey! I have been writing poetry since I was 10! I did not say it was always GOOD poetry, but i write a lot.

Kevin, we are bored! Not creepy. we are getting in touch with our inner Japanese pen! Did I say we are bored!

We don't have root canals to worry about. By the way, how are you doing? Dentist trips are not fun!

Tooth is better, root canal is done and tomorrow for a crown... and then I should be all good ready for the prototypes. Thanks for asking :)

Vicodin is your friend.

I'm reduced to selling excess stereo equipment while waiting.

Anybody want a lightly used pair of GPA 604Hii drivers. Only $850.00 for FPN members. :roflmho:

Sunday night was so bad vicodin was doing nada. I had to resort to swish with 12 year old wiskey and bourbon vanilla extract, and benzocaine combo finally did the trick for the night.

Now what the heck is GPA 604Hii drivers? The only dirvers I know are form Calloway, Mizuno and Nike etc. :roflmho:

That sounds like a wicked cocktail. You should have considered going straight to the morphine. Vicodin was good enough for me when I had all four wisdom teeth pulled.

The GPA 604Hii are two way coaxial speakers drivers based on the original Altec Lansing designs. I should be able to get $1K for the drivers and crossovers. More than enough to pay for the Fellowship Pen.

I am having to divert all discretionary income to obtaining one of my non-pen grails. I'm upgrading to my grail speakers this weekend due to a once in a lifetime opportunity. An opportunity to own a $50K speaker at a significant discount. :bunny01:

As for golf drivers, I kinda like the Calloways but I'm not a fan of the Nikes.

That can easily be arranged.

The speakers are Shindo Latours and made in Tokyo.

Our god of fountain pens Kevin says that buying a new fountain pen should not be a stress.

I agree with him.

Please relax.........

Hee... Hee.... Just got another email from Danitrio...

If the tracking is correct, the prototypes will reach Danitrio TOMORROW (Thursday), and they will rush me the pen overnight to reach me by FRIDAY!!!! And I am NOT working Friday, so I get all day to play around with the pens... Oh, sleepless nights begins!!

Jose, no problem, I am charging the battery tonight and my 2GB memory card is ready to go!!! My photos will certainly not be as good as yours, but hopefully I will do these pens justice.

Kevin

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
