Recently went to Brussels on a family trip and wanted to explore pen shops. Didn't have time to search very far but found a lovely little shop near the old centre called Le Typographe. This is their second shop in Brussels and has only been open a 3-4 months according to the salesperson. They also have a workshop in Brussels and the website suggests another shop in Paris. Small shop, open afternoons only (like many Brussels shops) with mainly notebooks and cards, all produced by themselves. Not the cheapest but some gorgeous things and the paper I bought was fountain pen friendly. They also do stunning gift boxes - sadly, only available in continental Europe, not UK, but that was probably a good thing for my wallet.... Recommended if you're visiting this lovely city.

I am planning for some purchase and one of them is that I want to try Indian custom made fountain pen , I know Fosfor Pens do that; but are there other craftsman / workshop / store that provide similar , any info welcomed. I intend to just order online and from abroad. And I am looking for material locally Indian ( exotic wood, or might be others )

We will work through the fundamental forms that make up the minuscule (small) and majuscule (capital) letters of the alphabet. This class will benefit both beginners and those with some experience in Copperplate or other pointed pen scripts. Tickets for this even are available here: Copperplate Calligraphy with Salman Khattak - Jan 7th, 2017

Hi all, I am excited to announce my upcoming class on Copperplate Calligraphy. This 6-hour class will be held at Wonder Pens in Toronto. This is a Level-1 class where we will start our study with the structure of the minuscule letters. Both beginners and practitioners of Copperplate are welcome. The class is limited to 10 students. This ensures that I will be able to spend plenty of time with each participant. Further details are available at: Copperplate Class with Salman Khattak I hope to see some FPN'ers there. - Salman

Hi all - it is time for another workshop. This time I am going to go over the process of carving a holder with basic tools. All supplies will be provided. You just need to show up with some enthusiasm and walk home with a holder crafted with your own hands. I am going to demonstrate the complete process with the participants following along at each step under my guidance. We will only be using basic tools like knives, files and pliers so no special skills are required. I am looking forward to seeing some FPN'ers there. Oh - and the details are at: wonderpens.ca - Salman
