  2. I couldn't find an answer to this question by searching within this forum, so I figured I'd ask: I see a "Visconti Voyager Anniversary Edition" of 800 (or maybe 888?) pens that was released in 1999 (according to an online pen store's page). Then I also see mentions of a "Visconti Voyager 25th Anniversary Edition" of 888 (?) pens that was released on the 25th anniversary of the founding of Visconti, which (according to another online pen store) is 2013. However, online pictures I have seen of the two editions look the same. Both are power-filler demonstrators (but not absolutely clear -- there's an abstract design like a leafy vine on the barrel and cap), and both seemed to have come with two-tone 18kt gold nibs. Hence my question: were there really two different Anniversary Voyager editions? And if so, was the 25th Anniversary edition simply a repeat of the earlier edition?
  3. The Visconti Voyager Demonstrator features the iconic 'spring' clip in sterling silver marked #80/188 and three silver accent bands on the cap. The pen uses a power filling system which can be viewed through the clear transparent acrylic barrel and is fitted with a Visconti 18k two-toned Broad nib. The writing instrument is unused and comes with wooden display box and documents. Our price - $1,800 Check out our eBay listing for further information. 4. Has anyone picked up one of the Levenger Circa Voyager notebooks or seen one in person? http://www.levenger.com/circa-voyager-leather-notebook-13079.aspx I use the Levenger Circa/ Staples Arc system extensively at work, and have really enjoyed the ability to switch around pages in the order that I want while on the fly. This looks almost like they're trying to take a little bit of the vibe of the Midori Traveler system and apply it to their Circa line. Not connected to Levenger or Staples at all... Just wanted to see if anyone had tried one of these since it's a little spendy for something that I might not like. John
  5. Hi, I am looking for some advice on Visconti Voyager Platinum Arc fountain pen. As far as I was able to find out it was limited edition of 35 pens made from old 1930s celluloid stock, nib is 18ct. They are black grey and they come in a numbered presentation box. I can't find more about it. I know there was a lot of different Voyagers and I really like this one, my only concern is that it is in very understated grey and I may have difficulty to sell it on if I eventually decide to do so. Does anyone knows what was RRP for this pen? I have an opportunity to get a mint one for $350, is this a fair price? Any help will be appreciated

    Visconti Pens' Aesthetics

Does anyone else feel that the company's pens have degraded in terms of aesthetics and beauty? To me, its most beautiful models are/were Voyager, Wall Street and Ragtime, and the newer ones appear flashy, tacky and severely lacking in aesthetics. I know this is highly subjective, but would like to hear your opinions.
