A few months ago, I got back to writing with fountain pens. Having a problem with the nerves in my hands, it was hard in the beginning. Now after just a few months, I've gotten back a lot of the circulation and writing is much easier. I don't know why I didn't start sooner. Also got bitten by the collection bug. A few Parkers, Monteverde, a Diplomat and a Conklin. Thanks again for accepting me. john
This ASMR YouTuber I watched has a video where he mentions a pen that was given to him and he does not know what refill fits in it. Please, if anyone knows write here and I will pass on information to him or you can give him a comment on YouTube. Thanks! https://youtu.be/xC0AA_BVncE?t=19m30s
Hello all! Greetings from Sydney, Australia. I have been learning and will continue to learn about fountain pens via this lovely community. Everyone is supportive and has very good things to say! Thank you! According to http://www.melbpenshow.com.au/Ant&Art_page.pdf: "Australia has a small ‘pen population’. Fountain pen use in the UK and US equates to one in 25 to 30 of adult population. In Australia, fountain pen use equates to one in 120 of adult population. As a consequence, Australia has the smallest number of specialty pen retailers per capita, in the world. What follows is that Australians are not the modern pen manufacturers’ best friend!" It is nice to know that there is a global community of fountain pen enthusiasts. I'm aiming to get myself to the Melbourne Pen Show. Fingers crossed! This newbie thanks you all!
It is Thanksgiving in Canada today. I am grateful for all of the hard work that people put into the pen and ink reviews on FPN. I have learned a lot from the discussions and pictures that are available here. I wish I had more technical skill and equipment to join in the reviews as a contributor; for now, thank you!
