I don't know much about Ballograf apart from that it's a Swedish brand that has been around for quite a few decades - and that I used their pens extensively growing up. It's mostly famous for its ballpoint pens but there are the occasional fountain pen that pops up here and there. I decided to take a $14.50 gamble on this pen as I have some nostalgic memories of the Ballograf pens - and I also rather like the look of the pen. If anyone have any information about the pen and/or thoughts on it I would be more than happy to hear as all I know is what was in the ad; "This Ballograf is old model, I presume. Gold plated. In very good condition. Not said if it is Germany or Sweden made." Some photos of it; http://i64.tinypic.com/2vsf3lu.jpg "M" - assuming "Medium" on the nib: http://i63.tinypic.com/faq5wh.jpg http://i68.tinypic.com/20z1v08.jpg http://i67.tinypic.com/30djpk5.jpg http://i63.tinypic.com/2j5kwo2.jpg Now, I have no delusions of that it will be a 'high grade' pen - Ballograf was, and is, very much a mass market consumer product manufacturer - but it would be fun if it was at least decent enough to bring out from time to time when I feel extra nostalgic about the brand

Hello Fountain pen friends! My name is Liselotte and I am a pen collector from Sweden. My first fountain pens was the white Waterman, made in plastic. I had both the black and the blue one. After those, I had a Lime Green Cross Solo, some Lamy Safari which are Dark Lilac, Lime Green, Red (with Coral Red front), Black, I also have two Waterman Hemisphere, one in matte steel and one in black and also the Expert II in Red Laque. I also have the Parker Sonett in Steel and Parker Frontier in blue plastic. I also have an unknown brand FP, which is a memory from my father. It was the pens (Yes a ballpoint in the same design too) that he bought for his first salary.

Ummm, are there any? And if not, might we get enough people together to arrange one? Could initially start as just a meetup to see how that goes (say, in Helsinki or Stockholm)? Ideas, ideas...

Id For Green Ceramic Pen Tray With Inkwell
curiousbibliophile posted a topic in Paper and Pen Paraphernalia
Hello, Our neighbor gave me this pen tray before she moved out of state. She said they'd thought that it was an ashtray. She was from Sweden, but I think she bought it second-hand. I was hoping maybe someone would recognize the stamp on the back, and share any information they know about it. My internet searches haven't had any results Thanks! -
