    Royal Blue - St. Dupont

St Dupont Paris is a brand name and manufacturer of lighters, collectible pens, handbags, perfumes (produced under license by Interparfums) and other gadgets using the trademark diamond-head pattern. The company has been producing luxury items since its founding in 1872. The founder of the brand, Simon Tissot-Dupont, was born in Savoy in 1847 - the company owes its initials to him. It seems at the moment they offer only two inks in bottle (black and blue) and two more in cartridges. At the moment the company offers two inks in nice glass bottles: Royal Blue and Black. Royal Blue is nice, well-behaved ink. It's not amazing nor unique but still rather nice. 2. On August 26, 2019 this pen was pickpocketed out of my bag in a CTA bus. I've never been pickpocketed in Chicago so it comes as a shock to me but the pen was missing when I got home. Such a shame, it was one of the best pens I've handled and I even sold my other pens to fund this relatively big purchase. This particular ST Dupont Olympio L is not common and can be easily identified by the diamondhead textured cap. If you see one going around please let me know. It had blue ink on that day.
