    De Atramentis: Sherlock Holmes

http://inks.pencyklopedia.pl/wp-content/uploads/De-Atramentis-Sherlock-Holmes-nazwa.png Present test ink De Atramentis dedicated Sherlock Holmes. Ink very well written, pen glides nicely after page. No bleed through and good drying time, it is the color of the most important assets of ink. This is in compliance. Although color is a matter of taste, but this is perfectly suited for me. I would recommend fans of blue-black. Producent: De Atramentis Series, colour: Sherlock Holmes Pen: Waterman Hemisphere "F" Paper: Image Volume 80 g / cm2 Specifications: Flow rate: good Lubrication: good Bleed through: noticeable Shading: unnoticeable Feathering: unnoticeable Saturation: very good A drop of ink smeared with a nib http://inks.pencyklopedia.pl/wp-content/uploads/De-Atramentis-Sherlock-Holmes-kleks.jpg The ink smudged with a cotton pad http://inks.pencyklopedia.pl/wp-content/uploads/De-Atramentis-Sherlock-Holmes-wacik.jpg Lines http://inks.pencyklopedia.pl/wp-content/uploads/De-Atramentis-Sherlock-Holmes-kreski.jpg Water Resistance http://inks.pencyklopedia.pl/wp-content/uploads/De-Atramentis-Sherlock-Holmes-woda.jpg Sample text http://inks.pencyklopedia.pl/wp-content/uploads/De-Atramentis-Sherlock-Holmes-txt.jpg Ink drying time http://inks.pencyklopedia.pl/wp-content/uploads/De-Atramentis-Sherlock-Holmes-wysychanie.jpg Other tests carried out: Sample text in an Oxford notebook http://inks.pencyklopedia.pl/wp-content/uploads/De-Atramentis-Sherlock-Holmes-Oxford.jpg Sample letters in a Rhodia notebook http://inks.pencyklopedia.pl/wp-content/uploads/De-Atramentis-Sherlock-Holmes-Rhodia.jpg Ink drops on a handkerchief http://inks.pencyklopedia.pl/wp-content/uploads/De-Atramentis-Sherlock-Holmes-chromatografia1.jpg Chromatography http://inks.pencyklopedia.pl/wp-content/uploads/De-Atramentis-Sherlock-Holmes-chromatografia2.jpg
  2. Well, I can't not review what is my currently favorite blue. (though I'm digging Bleu Ocean a lot right now.) Sherlock is the only fictional person in the De Atramentis historical persons series of ink. I like dark blues. Though sometimes bright blues. Just never boring blues. I think this one is a good deep and dark blue. It's got more color to it than my Noodler's Blue Black (which sometimes just looks black). This one flows well. I've never had any real problems with it. It's also got some water resistance. And some pretty shading. Dry time is a little longer than most of my inks. And come on, it's Sherlock. It's actually a decently appropriate color for his character. Night blue. Anyway, yes it's a cool character. But it's a good color too, and a good ink.
