Hello, I am looking for a nib, that has a fine vertical downstroke and a medium horizontal stroke. I know italic nibs meet these requirements, if you write cursive. But if you try to do it with straight vertical strokes, you would have to hold the pen very awkwardly to get a fine line. I am looking for either the general term of the type of nib, that meets this requirements, if there is one, or a specific pen/ nib. I attached a picture, of how a "T" would look like, written by a nib like this. (Sometimes the inkflow of my nib isn't proper, so this comes about, and I love when this happens) Thank you very much, creed

I have a large collection of ink, but only one purple must be remedied! . The purple I have is waterman, can anyone recommend something with a touch more red? Has anyone used diamine imperial or MB violet? If so do you think these might fit the bill. Any suggestions welcome I'm in the UK so noodlers and PR are harder to procure. Thank ye all

Hello everyone I always used fountain pens mostly for sketching or take quick notes from my classes. But I never took it as something serious (I mean, smoothness, tip of the nib, etc...) I´m an architect, who, since a long time, admires a spanish architect called Enric Miralles. I don´t want to bore you, but since I saw that he use FP´s, I started writing almost everyday with them. In fact , I think I started to collect them , having about 15 pens. This collection starts, trying to figuring out what pen did he use. It's funny how an image, can make you start collecting something. But , friends , I need help. I only have two images, One, there´s this guy with his wife, I think she is holding a MB 149, but his pen, I don´t know... The other image, he is lightning a cigar, and in his shirt pocket you only see the clip of the pen...I need to recognize this pen by the cap, which is the only thing visible. To me, it seems like an old Parker, but i´m not sure...I attached these images, and I already appreciate your help. Best regards Rodrigo.

I have spent the last few weeks trying to find the perfect set of greens for drawing and coloring (the amount of variation in natural color is endless 0_0 Four is barely enough, lol) I finaly chose my two lighter-end greens-- Diamine Jade Green and Light Green-- but I'm having trouble on the mid-level and the darkest. I finally settled, after testing about 15 greens, on De Atramentis Cucumber...buttttt... it's scented and comes in a tiny bottle I will constantly be re-ordering The mid-level green, whatever I choose, will get the most use, so a larger bottle would be preferable, and a non-scented ink, even more so Anyone have some suggestions? Shading is nice, but not necessarily necessary; I just want something close shade-wise that will go well with my other two greens (and if you want to suggest a darker green for my fourth, go right ahead I haven't been very successful there yet...)
