So my Safari Dark Lilac arrived in the mail on Monday, and I noticed that the nib slit was to the right of centre and kinda wonky, and that was the reason why it was stuttering and writing like a needle. Well, I got in touch with Notemaker and asked them if I could just send the nib back for a replacement. Well they sent me back an email saying that they're all out of black F nibs, so they just sent me a whole new pen!
