I tend to use dark colors for business. Most comonly a blue or black - often a water resistant ink. For journaling, letters, notes to myself, and other non-business uses I find that I've more and more gone with a medium to darker brown. Occasionally I'll veer off and use a dark red like Widow Maker or Tianamen. There are times when I load the Sherwood Forrest or Squeteague or even a medium blue, like Noodler's American Blue. But I'd say that 50 or 60% of the time, pens not inked up for business use are loaded with one or another shade of Brown or Sepia ink. What about you? What are your recreational ink choices and, over time, have those preferences changed?
