Hello all! I am looking for suggestions for my first ink in my Lamy safari Dark lilac medium nib. I am looking for something that I can use professionally but something that has character! I looked at Diamine eclipse but it seems too black, then I looked at PR ebony purple but it seems to have mixed reviews...I was hoping for something with a little more purple. I prefer the bluish purple, not the ones that tend toward red. I am just reaching out to you because you have so much more experience than I do! Hoping someone can offer me some advise! So grateful!!

Hey there! I am looking for inks which can be used in a professional setting but have a tiny bit of fun with them. For me, these inks should be very dark, so that by not taking a closer look you could mistake them for a blue or even black ink, but at a second glance you can see a tiny pop of color. So almost black, but with something extra. Hi, Mini introduction first: After recently picking up (or rather buying) a couple of cheap fountain pens, I have had great use of these forums, and kind off rediscovered writing. It is an amazing feeling to actually write something by hand again. It has even given me the mental kick in the but to get writing on an idea for a paper I have had in the pipeline for a long time, although that is, for practical purposes, done electronically. To the question: I am looking for a dark green, professional looking ink. After reading in this subforum, I decided on the Diamine Sherwood Green - and I ab
