  1. Dear Waterman Folk, I have a little collection of Gentlemans (Sterling Silver Grain d'Orge Oblique, Sterling Silver Godron F, Gold-Plated Godron M). Now I got two more delightful Gentlemen which on the cap instead of the W Logo have emblems of BMW (Dark Cherry, M nib, see photo) and "Porsche Club de France" (Tobaccco, M nib). The tobacco colour seems rare to me. How rare are these pens? Do you know other branded editions of the Gentleman? The nibs are normal 18K, deliciously smooth writers. I wonder if some people collecting the Gentleman find this exciting:) I don't even have a car, let alone a Porsche ! I am looking for the one in black or blue laqueur with gold flakes though. Please share your knowledge and thoughts on these pens !
  2. Just in case anybody had $27,000 USD lying around and wanted a new pen, Porsche has unveiled a new, solid gold fountain pen. Here is a link to an article about it: http://www.forbes.com/sites/aliciaadamczyk/2015/04/01/porsche-design-unveils-27000-solid-gold-limited-edition-fountain-pen/ "The P’3135, for when a Montblanc just isn't flashy enough."
  3. Hi all, I've just acquired one of these, supposedly a display model from the distributor, but the nib is not the same as the one on Hari's wonderful review (which again did its job and encouraged a purchase!) Instead of the writing being along the nib, it just has a big P in the middle, plus the markings for an 18ct M nib, but all facing towards the point of the nib, rather unusually .... Did the style of nib change or have I been given a different one? Thanks for your help .....
  4. http://www.porsche-design.com/en/News-Fountain-Pen/ Frankly, it reminds me of the second coming of the Parker T1, though it seems to be capless (sort of…) and has a fairly cylindrical cross section - though it's hard to tell from the few pictures available. So much for being able to say I have cheap tastes!
