Hello everyone! First I am very impressed. I would never imagine an entire and large community would exist for fountain pen art so I am really excited! I already found help and learned a lot on the website but there is so many choice that i am confused so i allow myself to request your advice. Hello, I have been wanting to buy a Pilot Falcon for some time now. I haven't pulled the trigger yet because I cannot decide between the resin version or the metal version. I am also undecided about which nib size I should get. I am thinking either a medium or a fine. I would like to try one out for myself but there are no pen stores that I know of in my area. So, I was wondering if there is anyone here in the Twin cites that has one or more I could try to help with my decision. Thanks Scott
At the moment I am writing an article on the function of flex nibs. Trying to explain why fps still write after the front of the flex nib has lifted off the feed I realised that I am making too many assumptions (I have some ideas ). I am using a Pilot Falcon as an example because I have some overall photos and I like its nib. In order to understand the function of a flex nib combined with a Pilot Falcon I would need some photos of the feed only... or if someone has a spare one (just the feed)... it does not need to function, only the front end needs to be undamaged... to have it in my ha
Anyone able to compare the CH 912 FA nib and the regular Pilot Falcon nib? I recently purchased the Falcon and now I'm having buyer's regret hearing that the FA nib on the Custom Heritage 912 and the Custom 742 are even better.
