  4. I have just ordered myself one of this years limited edition Pilot Vanishing Point pens, 'Crimson Sunrise'! It'll be my first VP, having wanted one for some time, so I thought I'd take the opportunity now as it's such a gorgeous looking pen! I hope it won't take too long to arrive... Needless to say, I'm excited!
  5. A friend in Japan sent me a sheet of 50th anniversary Shinkansen or "Bullet Train" stamps. Thought the Shinkansen and Pilot Decimo share a resemblance.
  6. Came upon this forum - joined - don't know where or which topic to post to but I was hoping to find information on early pilot capless pens - cartidges and identification . . . hopefully there is an image below I have bought IC-100 cartridges that don't seem to fit and would just like to use it . Cult pens offer a cartridge cover but I can't see that it would fit or help - are there other cartidges from Pilot. Hope to hear from someone and thanks for reading - Paul H
  7. I had a horrible experience. I could not find my edc, my go-to pen:a matte black Pilot Capless (or Vanishing Point). I travel about from office to office and worried I had left it behind or worse it had slipped out of my bag on the Tube. I could not put my hands on my pen. I went to my bag and turned that inside out. I went to my wardrobe and searched the pockets of every jacket I had worn recently. Then I did it again. I went through my desk. I went through files and folders I had used. I could not find my little baby. I went on websites to price a replacement. I could not imagine life without it. I was starting to obsess about a black inanimate object. Its not like it was my only pen. I have a 30 odd pens, but this was my go to edc ready for anything ,smooth as you like Pilot Capless. So I was packing my bag to go to work this morning. I had to take my laptop and its power cable which I keep in a Eagle Creek Pack-It bag. “I wonder, if I put my pen in here?” I thought, remembering I had swept my desk clutter into the cable bag as I left an assignment last week. Well, Joy of Joys, there was my little baby lost among a coiled up power lead! I have been reunited with my little baby. It was then I realised that I need to recognise I have an addiction to fountain pens. What is it with these things that the loss of some metal object got me like that? Am I alone? btw: the image is from FP Geeks:http://fpgeeks.com/2012/06/pilot-vanishing-point-black-matte-the-awesome-review/
  8. It's official, the Pilot Capless 2013 limited edition fountain pen will be available from November! All Capless limited editions are special, but what makes the 2013 version even more so, is that it's also the 50th anniversary of the Capless fountain pen in Japan! Made from Maple wood and gold trim, the 2013 Capless also comes stylishly packaged in a luxurious matching wooden box. The 2013 Capless will certainly live up to its limited edition title, as only 900 of these pens will be available worldwide, but don't worry you can pre-order yours from us today. The higher cost involved with producing a pen from Maple Wood and the smaller number of pens available increases the exclusive nature of this edition. http://www.cultpens.com/acatalog/Pilot-Capless-Maple-LE.jpg What do you think of the 2013 Limited Edition?

    My Collection Of Capless

Since I read this forum, I felt in love with japan pen. In one year I was successfulled to find all those capless : I put photos with and without flash (so that you better imagine the real color) The plain color : From left to right : Green Vivid red Limited edition 2009 Orange Limited edition 2007 Yellow mustard - Only sold in Japan Yellow orange Mandarin yellow Limited edition 2003 Ice green Limited edition 2010 Ice blue Limited edition 2006 Gray (light) or silver Pink Limited edition 2011 Violet Limited edition 2008 The carbon edition. The only one I don't have : the black one From left to right : Red / Blue / Green and the new one : white And my Decimo From left to right : Dark grey Black Dark blue Light blue Pink champagne Yellow - Gold White Red And all of them are inked with differents colors. They are so many colors to try that I don't have enough pens. I really love to read the inks review If you have colors that I don't have in M nib, and you want to get rid of them, I can give them a new home I have the Capless yellow mustard in broad in double so if someone wants to give it a new home, leave a MP.
  10. Hello, Cult Pens here. We've just signed up to the Fountain Pen Network with a premium account to show our support and are very much looking forward to being part of community. For those of you that don't know us, we are based in the UK and stock the widest range of pens, pencils and refills on the planet! Our site is regularly updated with offers and new products, so there's always something new to check out. In fact, we are kicking off our activity on FPN by annoucing that the Pilot Capless (Vanishing Point) Fountain Pen in White Carbonesque is now available. Pure white with rhodium-plated trim and rhodium-plated 18k gold nib. Although known as the Carbonesque in Europe due to the similarity of the finish with (faux) carbon-fibre trim on some cars, this finish is actually known as the Kasuri in Japan. Kasuri is a textile dyed with a resist technique to create the simple patterns reflected in this pen. The Pilot Capless (Vanishing Point) Carbonesque White Fountain Pen is in stock for fast UK and worldwide delivery. http://www.cultpens.com/acatalog/Pilot-Capless-Carbonesque-wh-fp.jpg
  11. My friend John is a photographer and asked me if he could borrow a few fountain pens to shoot for his portfolio. I think he did a great job. http://static.squarespace.com/static/51c300c1e4b034c963afc8b8/t/51c48c43e4b0c5a944a39daa/1371835461423/20%20-%20Pennor0564.jpg Pilot Capless, TWSBI Diamond 540, Iroshizuku Tsuki-yo ink, Pilot Custom, Pilot MYU BS-500. http://static.squarespace.com/static/51c300c1e4b034c963afc8b8/t/51c48c2ce4b09ee48eb671cd/1371835437733/20%20-%20Pennor0531.jpg Montblanc Meisterstück 149, Waterman Carène, custom Nakaya, Iroshizuku Chiku-rin and Tsutsuji ink.
