  1. I am considering changing the nib of PenBBS Model 267 pen to a Kanwrite No. 6 nib. I love the balance of the pen, it never leaked in eyedropper mode, no hard starts so far (I haven't left it unused for more than 4 days). I find the nib too dry for my preference and I would like to change it with a Kanwrite nib. I also like the smoothness and the feedback of the Kanwrite nib I have used better. I read that - No. 6 nibs can be too long for the cap of some PenBBS pen models, resulting in the nib hitting the cap and possibly getting deformed/damaged over time. I would love to avoid that and if the new nib will be too long, I may give up the change and use it in another pen. - Are there other ways to increase the ink flow while using the same nib? - Can anyone share experiences with this model? - PenBBS feeds are somewhat brittle and may get chipped / broken while being taken out. To prevent this from happening, I read that I should try to slide the nib out of the section and then take the feed out. I assume the assembly would be in reverse order. - PenBBS feeds have very narrow channel allowing for a light ink flow, resulting in a dry nib. I.e. the feed could be the source of the problem, not the nib. I don't know how to determine this. As I've never replaced a friction-fit nib, neither have I disassembled a nib section before, I assume I have a good chance to break the feed. If I manage to take out the feed, broken or not, I will be able to take and share pictures of the feed and also measure it and share the measurements. Would this information be sufficient to get recommendations of what feed to replace it with, in case I decide to go for a non-PenBBS feed? How easy is it to replace feeds between manufacturers? Apart from the pen manufacturer, where can one buy feeds from? Any comments and suggestions will be appreciated.
