    First Pen Wrap!

Just received my first pen wrap in the mail today. Pretty excited! I realized recently that just throwing my pens all together in one bag could lead to scratches, leaks, and other damage. I figured I should take better care of my pens. Luckily, Amazon had me covered with this inexpensive wrap. Its got enough room for all my currently inked pens as well as one ballpoint if someone asks to borrow a pen. The best part is it has a little pocket for extra cartridges, converters, and anything else I might need! And it's not bad looking either!

I Got My First Pen Wrap!

Hi everyone, I just got my first pen wrap in the mail from alc3261. :D I'm really happy with it, so I thought I'd share some pics of her handiwork! Thanks again! http://i57.tinypic.com/2mmgz9v.jpghttp://i60.tinypic.com/2monhb5.jpghttp://i58.tinypic.com/11glr4k.jpghttp://i59.tinypic.com/ous289.jpghttp://i58.tinypic.com/nb7n6v.jpghttp://i61.tinypic.com/2z7fnfn.jpg

    Pen Wrap

I made this over spring break, like 8 months ago, and then it just sat on my desk for a LONG time. But now that I'm actually using it, I wanted to show it off XD. This was my second pen wrap that I made, after the first one didn't turn out too great (and my mom burnt part of the suedecloth with the iron). I changed the interfacing to a thicker one, although it was somewhat problematic to sew it because it became a bit too thick. Next time, I'll choose an interfacing somewhere in the middle Cotton outside, Suedecloth on the inside http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2013/365/f/0/marvel_pen_wrap_by_vampduzell-d6kxllf.png
  8. I've personally been on a three month long hunt to find that "Perfect Case" in which to carry my five favourite pens, the one's I use in rotation on a daily basis. I've purchased many cases over the years and for one reason or another, they've all failed to hit the spot for one reason or another. That was until this week, when I received my Kimono Pen Wrap, for some reason this one case seems right for me at the moment in time. Now I have to confess to a secret - I have a slight touch of OCD when it comes to cases - I know that at some-point in the near future I'll want another & the search will resume. Now I'm sure I'm at alone on this? Here's my collection of cases used daily, what are you using & why? Far left: Maxpedition EDC Pocket Organiser Mini - It's the total Armageddon day solution. Right top: Campo Marzio PU leather three pen case that cost £2.99 Right Middle: Kimono Fountain Wrap from Inthreadible on Etsy (my current personal Favourite. Right Bottom: Atelier De La Foret Pocket Pen Case, regret buying as the two pen case is better value.
  9. Finally after three months of looking for 'my perfect case' I think I've found it in the form of the Kimono Pen Wrap. It holds four pens inside and two on the outside and made by a UK based seller called Inthreadible on Etsy. I've plenty of cases, leather, ballistic nylon etc etc - But not one comes even close to the lovely tactile feel, beautiful quality & care taken in making this wrap. I really can't find a single thing about the wrap I don't like. In my mind it's perfection and large enough to carry all my favourite pens, least the ones I like to keep inked and ready for use on a daily basis. The four internal pockets swallow most pens with ease, however my largest pen is my Edison Herald. My herald fits perfectly it's neither to tight nor to loose, however you'd struggle to fit a wider pen into the four internal pockets. Thankfully there are no restrictions to pen width on the outside pocket, as this is one large pocket capable of swallowing just about any pen. As you can see from the photographs, this outside pocket varies in length due to the sloping design. If you're looking for a wrap style case I can thoroughly recommend it, it's an extremely well made, lovely quality item & best of all only costs £15.24 GBP plus shipping. I received mine within 48 hours via recorded delivery for a few pounds extra. I comes with a care leaflet in which it's explained how to care for the wrap & a mention that if you damage it in anyway, you can return it for repair. Inthredible offer a wide range of colours & larger cases, well worth a look. https://www.etsy.com/shop/Inthreadible?ref=l2-shop-info-name I've no affiliation to Inthreadible other than I'm a happy customer. Cheers, Mark
