  1. Does anyone know about this brand? I recently purchased a nice gold capped black fountain pen. It is an aromatic filler with a Parker like system. I’ve never heard of the brand, nor has the person that sold it to me.

Need Help Identifying This Desk Pen

What particular model is it and is it a good pen? I'm not even sure what kind of filler it has... I'll upload more photos when I get the pen.
  3. Found pen at grandmas. Would like to purchase refills. Help needed.
  4. Gifts from Prime Minister Abe to the participants of G7 summit included a fountain pen... Higo-Zogan by Platinum. http://www.mofa.go.jp/ms/is_s/page4e_000447.html Now... There are two different designs of this pen; cherry blossom and ginkgo. Does anyone know which design was actually gifted? Any up-close and personal pics? And any other details, such as nib size? Any information is appreciated! You can read all about higo-zogan here... http://www.platinum-pen.co.jp/e_higo_zogan.html

  6. So looking for some help, folks. I got this pen earlier because I loved the way it wrote, but unfortunately didn't have too much info on fountain pens when I bought it. Some features: It has "Aristocrat" stamped on the side, that's essentially the only marking. It's a button filler with a small ink window towards the bottom, and doesn't hold much ink at all. The nib is 14K gold and stamped with "Warranted 14K 8." Semi-flex, goes from around a XF to M/B. Thanks!

    Pen Id Help

I would appreciate any help on pen identification. The green one on the left was our grandmother or great grandmothers. Nib says Warranted H Chrome Point USA, has a screw on cap. I am figuring it is beyond restoration, any opinions? Sorry for not a great picture, I just was not sure how to make it better. I know now I should have it nib side up. The red one we bought at a flea market. I don't think it is worth much but it is different than a lot I have seen. An large S on the clip, a small, slender pen. Nib says 14Kt gold plate. Heart shaped breather hole, leer fill. Item on the right is just a part that came in a bag of miscellany. Thanks.

    Is This An Authentic Sheaffer?

Hi, I came across this 'Sheaffer' pen today and was wondering if it was authentic. It's large, looks like a Balance (?), and is in pristine condition. My concern is that it feels very much like cheap plastic for a reason I can't identify, the white dot looks just too darn white, and the nib seems iffy to me. Also, it's a c/c pen- is that an actual mechanism used on pens like this? The nib reads "SHEAFFER'S Feather Touch 18k 750 MADE IN USA" Thanks for any help!
  9. If anyone knows what the model of this pen is, its approximate value, when it was made, etc., I would greatly appreciate it. It is an English made Waterman's. It seems to me based upon the clip design and lever box that it was made sometime between 1937 and 1940 something but that is all I have. I love my Waterman Pens and this one is no exception. It has a very nice flexible nib. I've had it customized into a sharp fine Italic from the medium that it was originally. Before the customization the nib was not as nice as the earlier Waterman's that I am super fond of but now that it has been customized it is spectacular. In addition to the Black and Pearl English made Waterman's I am asking for help identifying I have attached my box of favorite Waterman's pens. 1. #3 2. #3 3. #32 4. UNKNOWN ENGLISH MADE Waterman's 5. #94 6. Silver Ray 7. Emerald Ray 8. #7 Red 9. #5 Red 10. #94 Persian Thanks in advance to you Waterman's experts for your kind help. Aloha, Todd
