  1. The 2017 Colors have just been leaked on Amazon.co.jp and fontoplumo. The Safari is a dark teal with black accents (name translates to petrol), and the Al-Star is a light blue named "Pacifica". (images below) (links here: https://fontoplumo.nl/2016/12/12/lam-al-star-pacific-is-the-2017-special-color/, https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B01N1GQOFW)
  2. Hi folks, Lamy Al-Star Pacific has arrived! Oh and do they look stunning! It is gorgeous bright and vibrant turquoise. Fountain pens come with Fine or Medium nib (feel free to swap any Z50 of course). There are Roller-balls and Ball-point pens too. Ink comes in T10 cartridges and T52 bottles. It is the very first special edition available in bottles for us. Pacific ink is available in special edition packaging, but the ink itself is exactly the same as regular Lamy Turquouise. https://www.bureaudirect.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=pacific Enjoy! Mishka
  3. Okay, so today I hit an Estate Sale and snagged a Pacific Pen and Pencil set. Both cleaned up quite nicely and the brass looks good also, but I've never heard of this .....what ....9th tier, lol, company? I have not been able to find one single reference to either pen or pencil and nothing for Pacific. I'm at a complete loss. The nib is the basic Supreme 14K Gold Plate and the pen needs a new sack. Pencil needs lead, lol. The color is beautiful and the emblem looks to be a laurel with a P in the middle. Can't find any info anywhere on this!! Has anyone ever heard of such an animal? The nib says nothing of the size, so no clue what size it is. I may have gotten taken on this grouping, but hoping it writes well. Not a real flexible nib, but in good shape. Any thought would be be appreciated!! (The dark clip is on the pencil.) Attached Images

    Kaiju Blue Ink? (Pacific Rim)

I recently saw the 2013 movie, 'Pacific Rim.' Pretty cool movie about giant robots fighting giant-alien-monsters, called 'Kaiju' http://cdn1.sciencefiction.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/pacific-rim-poster-banner.jpg The blood of these Kaiju looks really cool. Do you know of an ink that looks anything like it? The blue colours seen here: http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130706114235/pacificrim/images/7/7a/Pacific-Rim-Kaiju-blood.jpghttp://www.giantfreakinrobot.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/pacific-rim-kaiju-sea-monster.jpghttp://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130614023456/pacificrim/images/c/c8/Otachi_close_up.jpg
