  1. Hi All, I got this fountain pen on flea market, there is no brand information except nib - Degussa (Degussa acquire the Osmia nib production unit in 1936). It is rather small - with cap - 12 cm. As I made some reaserch I think this is some kind of Osmia (Supra?) but has some References, as piston and shape. I found that Supra had black piston with orings and this had only this metal piston with corc sealing. Additionaly this piston filling is also clouchless. Shape is rather different on the ending looks rader like Kaweco style than Osmia - Osmia had rather rounded ending. Doas anybody have an idea if it is some kind of budget OSMIA? and is it from 30's? I plan to do a cork sealing and see how it works later on Thanks in advance for any input. Best Regards

I'd Buy That For A Dollar

Hello! It's been a long time since I've posted here, but I thought that the deal I found last week might intrigue some folks (with pictures). Apparently the Dollar Tree (US-based store where all items are priced at $1) is now in the business of selling glass pens + coordinating ink! Quite surprisingly, it's not too scratchy and does a great job retaining ink between dips, both with the provided ink and other FP inks (I have not yet tested it with shellac-based inks.) The provided ink bottle is 6.8ml (0.23 fl oz) in a dark, mossy green which matches the pen shaft. Very slight shading.
  3. Hey all, any idea what this pen could be? Got it cheap on the Bay because its nib was crunched at the tip so I experimented and got it to basically a stub nib and it writes! No markings on it at all, and the nib just says "warranted" and then beneath that "1st" and that is all that is visible. I'm just curious if anyone has any guesses. Thanks!
