  1. Hello, fellow FPN'rs. I received my Moonman M2 eyedropper a few weeks ago and have been very pleased with it. I posted a review here. However, I just can't get used to the Extra Fine nib it came with. The nib is fine, just WAY too thin for me! So I bought a couple of nib replacements from Bobby Pen on eBay. One is a gold coloured steel FINE nib and the other a plain steel MEDIUM nib. They are cheap, so I thought if the fine wasn't thick enough, I'd just slap in the medium instead. Easy peezy right? Not so much! First, I found a YouTube video from Mr. Bobby himself, going over the pr
  2. When I'm out, I keep most pens in a case in my bag. Sometimes that bag gets tossed onto a couch. Other pens handle that, but the Moonman will burp ink into the cap. I know to warm a pen in my hand nib up (I have sac fillers and they're less burpy than this pen.) When the M2 is half full, it burps ink into the cap while sitting on the desk and then the pen spits while writing. Before I bought the M2, I'd read posts that this pen didn't burp despite being an eyedropper. I want to like this pen. But the burping...
  3. I pulled the trigger on a second Moonman M2. The first was a bit too fine for my tastes so I bought two replacement nibs; one Fine and one Medium. I replaced the EF with the Fine and I like it a lot. I saw an eBay sale on yesterday with the Moonman M2 EF going for $9US with free shipping. I had to get another. When it arrives, I will replace the nib with the medium and it will be my "blue" Moonman. I love this demonstrator... very cool pen.
  4. I received my new Moonman M2 eyedropper fountain pen today. I spent the afternoon unboxing, disassembling, cleaning and filling the pen with my new bottle of Iroshizuku Yama-Budo ink. I made a video throughout the process and did a writing sample at the end. I have just finished making the video and have uploaded it to my YouTube channel. Please take a look and tell me what you think! This is my first eyedropper and I was very excited to see how the beautiful magenta ink would behave in this pen!
