    Is This Rare?

I got this ink with a dip pen that my late family friend gifted to me for Christmas back in 2007. The other side of the bottle says Delta Italy 1982. I know there was a limited edition pen but I really can't find anything on this ink. I have used it a few times with my dip pen but haven't tried it out with any of my fountain pens and was curious if anyone on here had tried it or used it. How rare or scarce is it? Thanks!

    Montblanc Collection

Hello Montblanc owners I recentlys tarted collecting Montblancs and was able to get some of them on ebay and one in Selfridges. I currently have a WE Schiller FP PoA Pavarotti FP I also have a nice generation rollerball and am waiting on 149 I know its a modest collection and I am aware there are people with completed sets here but I am always looking for new ones. So my main goal is to increase the collection but not overpay. I should mention I'm studying right now so don't have funds for overpaying. Thats what makes it even more appealing since I am constantly looking for deals. I was thinking of getting a shaw soon and then having small pause to gather more funds. One of the pens I want to have are gaius, joseph, ramses, einstein or other great characters. So if anyone is selling some interesting ones please contact me since I am not interested in whether its sealed or inked and for me a pen is both to look and write good. So I am a bit of both a collector and someone who would write with them. There is an outlet in the uk where I found many good deals one of those was the lennon limited for 1200 pounds but I was not sure if it was such a good deal as the people tell me hahah So anyone willing to talk, sell, or just discuss about models please do that Andrej
  4. I know that this is pretty much an impossible question to answer, but I'm going to throw it out there anyways! I've never bought a limited edition pen before...or a Visconti for that matter either, but I have been pretty much drooling over the Visconti Homosapiens Crystal Swirl demonstrator for a very long time and would love to add it to the family. After doing the math, it would pretty much take me a year to save up for it with my current pen budget. This may sound ridiculous but how quickly do limited editions like that sell out? I'm not sure how long ago it was 'released' but factoring in waiting for another year doesn't really leave me all that much hope that it will still be readily available.
  5. When we were first told about the new limited edition Platinum #3776 Century pen, the Nice, we wondered the same thing we'd always wondered with the biscuits of the same name. Was it a nice pen, or was it named after Nice in the south of France? The name had always seemed appropriate for the biscuits, but perhaps a little less so for the pen. The biscuits are exactly what they say on them - nice. Not wonderful, and not the most delicious biscuits out there, but definitely nice. The #3776 Century Nice seems a bit more than just nice. http://www.cultpens.com/imgs/products/cp/950_constW/PT40381-ZZZ~Platinum-3776-Century-Fountain-Pen-Nice-Limited-Edition_P1.jpg A little reading on Wikipedia answered the question about the biscuits. Although there is still some disagreement on the origin of the name, they do seem to be named after the French city, and were at once time stamped with 'Nizza', the old Italian name for the city. http://www.cultpens.com/files/cp/imagelibrary/social/FPN/nice-biscuit.jpg The answer is the same for the pen. The warm golden tint of the rose gold trim and nib, combined with the clear matt barrel, represent the white waves washing in on the hot sand on the beaches of Nice. As a limited edition of only 2000 pens worldwide, we think it's going to be popular. The unusual frosted finish with a series of incised lines along the length of the pen make it rather more interesting than most clear pens. http://www.cultpens.com/imgs/products/cp/950_constW/PT40381~Platinum-3776-Century-Fountain-Pen-Nice-Limited-Edition_DTL5_P3.jpg Because it's a #3776 Century pen, the Nice has the same advantages as the rest of the range, including their top-quality nibs and the innovative Slip and Seal system that ensures the cap really makes a good seal around the nib unit so the pen doesn't dry out when it's not being used. Slip and Seal pens are even safe to use with Platinum's permanent Carbon Ink - a pigmented ink that would be risky to use with other fountain pens. http://www.cultpens.com/files/cp/imagelibrary/social/FPN/nice-beach.jpg (Image by James Rhodes on Flickr) If the Nice sounds nice to you, we have them in stock now at Cult Pens. Why not consider it over a cup of tea and a nice Nice biscuit?
