  1. Hi all a couple of years ago I bought a Delta Dolce Vita Federico Oversize and love everything about it (except one point see below) especially the orange glow of the barrel however after the first few months of using it periodically I got fed-up with the pen and it is sitting in the glass box it came with on display in my cabinet ever since. I cannot take the C.Converter of this pen as this pen drains/drinks ink like a waterfall, i often have to refill every week or less and what made it worst the pen cannot be converted into an eyedropper (well "technically" it can but too many places to seal up) but the nib is a beautiful 14k gold M and butter smooth. So I am thinking of fitting this delta #8 nib on to any affordable pen that has high or decent ink capacity and use it (can be any filling type and preferably a demonstrator). Any pen suggestion you know of that fits a #8 delta nib besides a custom made/turned pen ? My last resort is to sell the pen and let it find a new home since I rarely use it.
  2. Can’t find any info about this on line. Big gold nib, fantastic feel, but haven’t dipped it to try it. Going back to store soon. Expensive, about 1600 Euros. The story how I came across it, as well as more pix, are here: https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/topic/366734-sevilla-papelería-ferrer/#comment-4540900 i naively asked the owner if it was a new brand. But these are the Staedlers who started making pencils in the 1400’s, and makr ke tech pens etc today. if you call the store and buy it before I get there, please save me. tol
  3. I have a MB 149 and love it! What are some other pens that have nibs that are bigger than the standard #6? I am aware of the Sailor King of Pen nibs, the Pilot custom Urishi, some Conid pens, and the Montegrappa Extra. Are there any other options, perhaps at a more reachable price point? Nib material need not be gold.
  4. hello good people. i am a big fan of large no.9 nibs and to be able to make nice "voluptuous" line variations but are there any budget pens out there which offer a no.9 nib? are there any chinese manufactures who offer a nib bigger than no.6? please advise. i dont have money to fork up for a m1000 or a montagrappa or a visconti. should change my handle to "poorpenman" haha
